Well, my best friend lived across the street and when my mom went to visit his grandmother on behalf of the church she saw the heater. I love my job because I am naturally a “people person,” and this career offers me the chance to work closely with people in making their dreams a reality.
The great thing about my job is having had the incredible learning experience of being a part of a high-profile hotel opening, and seeing it through to the success it has become. Another great experience was being able to try out the exclusive spa treatments, especially the “Ultimate Kate Facial” at the Spa at Trump. It was my saving grace during some very challenging times our first year of being open. I highly recommend it to any gal needing a “red carpet” treatment.
Passion The non-profit organizations I volunteer for. It’s a truly rewarding feeling that comes from knowing you’ve helped deserving people get a break in life.
I love Chicago because it is a city with a big heart. I constantly hear about our city from people around our country and the rest of the world, and it makes me smile. Role model My father. As an adult I have been able to learn so much from him and come to understand the intense work ethic he’s had all his life. This apple did not fall far from the tree. His biggest achievement, starting Christkindlmarket Chicago, is now in its 14th year and has become an annual tradition for many Chicagoans. I’m so proud of him.

The stereotype about people in my industry I disprove Having a superiority complex. I have respect for everyone I work for and with, and for that matter, any of my competitors in the industry. I account for my own actions and take pride in achieving personal goals. I work hard to give everyone the respect that they deserve, no matter what level they are at in their careers. As for working with others in the industry, I’m very proud of the close-knit group of colleagues I’ve developed.

I do believe in love at first sight because I’ve heard of it happening before. The hard part is opening your eyes in the first place.
Fail-safe date plan Something interactive like bowling.
On first dates, I’m usually quiet. I spend so much of my life needing to be outgoing whether with clients, co-workers or networking, that when in a purely social situation, I tend to step back a little and let the other person take the lead.

Meet the parents When I feel comfortable enough knowing that I can picture this person in my life.
The last thing I did to impress a date Share the kitchen with him, making a great batch of chili before a Bears game.
