22nd Annual Green Tie Ball

Are you ready for the biggest event of the summer?

Step inside the Wonkaland Tent while enjoying live music, fine tastings from over 55 of Chicago’s top restaurants, cocktails and even charitable gambling from Rivers Casino offering blackjack, craps and roulette tables (oh my!)  – what event is this? It could only be the GREEN TIE BALL

Chicago Gateway Green hosts its 22nd annual Green Tie Ball “Willy Wonkaland” at Finkl & Sons Co. Steel Mill in Lincoln Park (the last year at this venue) on Saturday, September 7. Last year’s event hosted over 3,000 attendees while raising over half a million dollars.

Mingle with the city’s most prominent public, political and media figures, environmental supports as well as young professionals and local celebrities. Founded in 1986 by the late Donald DePorter, Chicago Gateway Green supports one mission: to beautify Chicago while making it green.

Ryan Chiaverini & Val Warner of WLS’s Windy City Live co-emcee the event for the second consecutive year. Get your tickets today – the event always sells out. Tickets are available at Eventbrite.
