Goosefoot should shoot to the top of your dining list, especially if you are an adventurous diner willing to accept a pre-fixe menu, BYO and the off-path location.
The $90 menu with 8+ courses is cleverly and very carefully thought out by former Les Nomades Chef Chris Nugent. He prints it on planting seed paper so you can pop it into the ground once you get home and grow some flowers. The dishes are artfully and consciously crafted as well. The West Lawrence location (2656 West Lawrence), officially in Lincoln Square but not that more trafficked stretch of Lincoln Avenue, is a welcome alternative, with a small dining room that’s tasteful in a most minimalist way.
Take a photo journey through our meal for a bird’s eye peek at these outstanding dishes from Goosefoot, then book a table…soon.
