Asthma is on the rise. Over 10 million people have asthma due to allergies. Two types of allergy groupings exist: external/environmental and internal/biochemical, which are most often food-based allergens. The top most common food allergies are in this order: dairy, wheat, gluten, corn and corn byproducts, sugar, soy, citrus, eggs and peanuts.
If you have asthma, try removing the food you consume the most. As for external allergies, these are much harder to control. Again, consider starting to support your over driven immune system by removing the daily stress brought about by over consumption of the foods you love, thus consume at nausea! Both the allergic and non-allergic forms of asthma have increased to a total of 300 million affected people globally. Contributors also include adrenal fatigue, anxiety, high sugar consumption (which lowers immunity), animal dander, certain drugs, poor air quality (fumes), mold and tobacco.
What to do?
Taking antioxidants like Vitamin A, C and E, Selenium CoQ10, Manganese and Magnesium as well as Vitamin D3 all help the lungs to breath more easily. Enough Vitamin C acts as a bronchial dialator, opening the airways. Try 6,000mg in room- to warm-temperature water the minute you feel pressure or as though you cannot get a full breath. Continue use up until you actually get loose stools and then back off to 500mg. Keep steady at that new dose until your bowel movements become normal again, then repeat.
Consider Lobelia, Mallien Oil or both, which sooth muscles and act as a relaxant and expectorant. Shuan Huang Lian or Clear Lungs are both Chinese herbal blends that open airways and reduce inflammation. Increase your intake of onions and garlic, which both contain quercetin. Increasing your oil consumption will aid in decreasing your inflammation. Lastly, increase hot lemon water to release mucus; decrease 1 cup every 3 hours and most importantly do not ingest cold or iced foods.
