NBC's Green Plate Club

The pictures say it all: This is a spectacular fall for the bounty of fruits and vegetables we are seeing at local farmers' markets.

We have launched the production of NBC'S Green Plate Club, and I want to share the adventure with my readers. The show starts in the farms, then follow the produce back into a great chef's kitchen, treck around the city to uncover some eco-friendly initiative and then finish up with a cooking segment using the seasonal ingredients we've seen earlier. It will be lots of fun so please like our Facebook Page: Green Plate Club Chicago. Stay tuned for more updates.

I'll be posting short videos as we go into post-production as well, but for now, a photo gallery! In the mean time, please support your local farmers' markets like this one, Green City Market, located at the south end of Lincoln Park between Clark and Stockton Drive.
