Glen Ellyn-based beauty brand Camp Cosmetics is a favorite among many Chicagoans (including philanthropist/blogger Candace Jordan, who has a lipstick named after her blog, Candid Candace, in Camp’s spring line). And while people all over Illinois continue to rave about Founder Michael Perich’s services and products, the master makeup artist never imagined he’d hear from someone halfway across the world in Abu Dhabi.
Mr. Perich exclaims, “I was floored! I received an email from a spa in the most affluent travel destination in the world about carrying the full Camp Cosmetics line, making me reevaluate the distribution aspect of where we’re headed. To top it off, the spa wants an exclusivity clause to be the only place in Abu Dhabi carrying the line. It’s surreal to have a dream and make it into a reality.”
