Chicago Children’s Choir 57th Anniversary

Glee, Joy and Pure Exultation…this is what you will experience at the “Red Jacket Optional” Fall Gala.

The Chicago Children’s Choir is set to host its fall gala, Red Jacket Optional, on Friday, October 18, at the refined and incomparable Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel. Cocktails start flowing at 6:00PM, with dinner to follow along with a luxury raffle and a live auction.

Special performances by the Voice of Chicago and the new Englewood Neighborhood Choir will occur throughout the evening. Save your energy for the after party where champagne will pour freely and delectable gourmet desserts from Sugar Hills Bakery tempt one and all. Ambassador Board Chair DJ Matt Roan will spin music to keep your feet happy, and burns off that sugar.

What to wear? Not your typical black tie event…the invites suggests “cocktail attire/ red tie optional.”

What is the Chicago Children’s Choir and who does it benefit? The choir is a multiracial, multicultural choral music education organization that shapes and forms the talent of approximately 3,500 of Chicago’s children, ages 8-18. Not a wonder why the choir is still going strong…
