Coco Pazzo Turns 20
Jack and Tamra Weiss discuss the Tuscan icon's longevity
Coco Pazzo, Chicago’s first restaurant to bring us authentic cuisine from Tuscany, is celebrating its 20th anniversary throughout January and February. “I think the secret to Coco Pazzo’s longevity is our passion for authentic Tuscan-inspired cuisine and genuine hospitality,” says Jack Weiss, president and owner.
Their thoughtfully prepared dishes never fly solo, because Coco Pazzo makes sure each has a fine Italian wine to compliment the meal. “It’s also very gratifying to have customers that appreciate the depth and breadth of our all-Italian list,” adds Wine Director Tamra Weiss, who’s also Jack’s wife.
Don't miss exciting events these two months, including select wine and dinner pairings, special dining deals, and the launch of Coco Pazzo’s own line of custom-produced extra virgin olive oil.
Coco Pazzo is also hosting the Lyric Opera of Chicago’s gala on Thursday, February 2, with proceeds supporting the Ryan Opera Center, a not-for-profit professional artist-development program for the Lyric Opera of Chicago. During the evening, students will perform selected arias from popular Italian operas while guests enjoy dishes specially prepared for the occasion. $125.
