Get ready to rock n’ roll for a worthy cause – the Lone Survivor Foundation. Renowned alternative rock band from the 1980s, the BoDeans, will perform live on Thursday, February 20 at the House of Blues. Throughout the evening, veterans of the Armed Forces will speak as well as be recognized and honored.
Founded by former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, author of the The New York Times bestseller Lone Survivor, the foundation hosts outdoor retreats promoting health, wellness and healing for veterans of the Armed Forces. The Lone Survivor Foundation’s main goal is to assist veterans in transitioning to post-military life as they deal with the “invisible injuries of war.”
Tickets are $50 and include an open bar from 7-9pm. Cash bar from 10-11pm.
The next fundraiser for the Lone Survivor Foundation (the 3rd Annual Rock for the Ranch) will be held on Saturday, February 22 at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel. Cocktail attire is required. Tickets start at $300 and go up to $5,000 per person, depending on sponsorship level. To purchase tickets for either event, visit the website for the Lone Survivor Foundation.
