The Les Turner ALS Foundation, founded in 1977, is Chicago’s leader in research, patient care, and education about ALS. Run to raise money for the foundation, which encourages runners to raise a minimum of $90 to represent that every 90 seconds someone is newly diagnosed with ALS. And this year brings a lot of new and improved aspects to the event, including a new course, complete with entertainment at each mile; a post-race party at the ChiSox Bar & Grill; and a post-race concert with the Chicago rock cover band, Daredevil Sunday.
