Business owners! Attend “Financial Night Out: Why is Succession Planning Important?” – a workshop presented by the Women¹s Business Development Center (WBDC). Moderated by Eva Brown, director of the WBDC¹s Access to Capital Program, the discussion will cover the importance of a business exit strategy, succession planning, business acquisition as an option for growth, and the optimum time to buy or sell a business. Panelists  including Nancy Bruggeman, an attorney at Heriaud & Genin, Ltd.; Carol Bullock, owner/vice president, Calumet Crossing Management, Inc.; Derrick Collins, Dean of the College of Business at Chicago State University; Vickie Dorgan, financial advisor, Keating & Associates, CFA; Nicole P. Loftus, founder & CEO, Hit Big Productions; and Letty Velez, founder & CEO, Chicago Mini Bus Travel, Inc.  will share wealth-building strategies which include selling your business at its most profitable point and the knowledge needed to acquire an existing business.
