At its 12th annual Spring Gala, the Women’s Board of the Joffrey Ballet, along with co-chairs Elisabeth Adams and Dana Hokin Garvey, and Women’s Board President Elizabeth D. Sharp, hosted over 700 guests raising $1.1 million on Friday, April 25.

The elegant evening began at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University (50 East Congress Parkway) with a unique one-hour performance selected by the Joffrey Ballet Artistic Director Ashely Wheater showcasing Joffrey dancers and dancers from the Joffrey Academy of Dance and Community Engagement Programs. Following the performance, guests were taken to the Chicago Hilton (720 South Michigan Avenue) via trolleys where they enjoyed classic cocktails, a delectable dinner created by the Hilton’s executive chef, and dancing to innovative tunes by the Bill Pollack Orchestra in the Grand Ballroom eloquently decorated by the extremely talented Tom Kehoe of Kehoe Designs.
