LuLu’s on the Avenue

Just in time for Mother’s Day…LuLu’s on the Avenue opens at The 900 Shops.

Owner of LuLu’s at the Belle Kay, Laurie Davis, expanded her niche by opening a second store. An expert on vintage jewelry, clothing and hats, Ms. Davis opened LuLu’s on the Avenue located on the third floor of the 900 North Michigan Shops.

One-of-a-kind vintage pieces are available in addition to contemporary designers, such as Roni Blanshay, Iradj Moini (one of my favorites), and Larry Vrba, among others. Adding jewelry designer to her resume, Ms. Davis unveiled her very own Signature LuLu’s Collection, exquisite pieces containing vintage centerpieces mixed in with vintage cabochon chains.

On Monday, March 4, LuLu’s on the Avenue hosted an event to celebrate its grand opening. Guests sipped Champagne while trying on vintage jewelry dating from the 1920s-1980s, along with contemporary pieces. A portion of the proceeds benefited The Service Club of Chicago.
