Rock-n-Roll = Marty Casey, The Lovehammers and jewelry…

Marty Casey Silver Elements hosted a trunk show at David Burke’s Primehouse on Saturday, December 1, 2012. Lead singer Marty Casey of the Lovehammers and co-designer Marla Zegart welcomed fans who stopped by to see the latest “Flame” collection, have a photo taken with Mr. Casey and say hello to the star.

Majority of fans were planning to attend the Lovehammers concert at the House of Blues that evening. Mr. Casey’s fan base is loyal and true, following him for years. Most of them have “met” Mr. Casey over 100 times.Having been a rock star since he was a little kid, Mr. Casey rose to international fame after winning runner-up on CBS-TV’s hit Rock Star: INXS.

Almost five years ago, Mr. Casey and Ms. Zegart collaborated on a jewelry design of ONE item – a Tree dogtag necklace inspired by Mr. Casey’s hit song “Trees.” Like Mr. Casey’s albums, the jewelry became a huge hit. The Lovehammers recently released their new CD “Set Fire” and along with the CD came the “Flame” collection showcasing earrings and a necklace. Ms. Zegart describes the new collection as, “Rock-n-roll chic, sexy and edgy. We accomplished the design with the sensual shape of the pendant, as well as attention to detail: two-tone silver combined with texture of stud detail on the pendant as well as the beaded double strand chain and the infinity accent on both pieces.”

Also new to the collection is the “Tree” ring (fabulous!) and earrings (the best selling item to date). The “Tree” pieces are “gifts that give back” to the planting of trees in conjunction with American Forests “Global Releaf” effort.

Do you have last-minute holiday shopping to do? Pieces in the silver elements collection are unisex and reasonably priced. Mark your calendars: Marty Casey Silver Elements Collection trunk show will be hosted by designers Marty Casey and Marla Zegart on Saturday, December 22 from 6-9PM at MADE IN CHICAGO presented by AIBI at 44 East Grand Avenue in Chicago, featuring live music by Marty Casey.
