Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue Makeover

Neiman Marcus on Michigan Avenue has undergone some major renovations in the last two years.

A shoe shopper’s paradise was unveiled recently on the second floor, three times larger than the previous shoe department. Boasting over 30 designers, including coveted couture designers Chanel, Christian Laboutin, Charlotte Olympia and Brunello Cucinelli among others. Ladies – stop in, sit down, and slip on a new pair of boots for fall. With new technology on hand, shoppers can search for the latest trends on iPads and see what special orders are available for the top brands.

On Friday, August 23, Neiman Marcus hosted an invite-only lunch at the infamous Zodiac Room for Tim Quinn, celebrity face designer and national director of creative artistry for Giorgio Armani. Mr. Quinn flew in to the Windy City to launch the new Armani Prive fragrance.

On Saturday, August 24, Neiman Marcus opened its doors at 8AM for an exclusive invite-only makeup event including a fall fashion show. Guests were invited to indulge in the latest trends new to the scene, viewing the brand new cosmetic shop, indulging in breakfast bites and mimosas and going home with a swag bag to brag about….
