Carl Sandburg Literary Awards Dinner

On Thursday, October 20, 2011 the Chicago Public Library and the Chicago Public Library Foundation hosted the annual Carl Sandburg Literary Awards Dinner. The University of Illinois Chicago Forum raised $1.25 million. The event honored Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Roger Ebert with the Carl Sandburg Literary Award and Rebecca Skloot was awarded with the 21st Century Award.
