The Langham Chicago’s Tai Chi Tuesdays

Time to tweak your Tuesday morning routine…

The newly opened Langham Chicago and its refined upscale Chuan Spa are offering a free class called Tai Chi, Tuesdays on the plaza outside of the hotel right on the river. The classes are led by Alex Vasileski, founder of “A Mind and Body Total Fitness,” every Tuesday morning in September at 8AM. Mr. Vasileski shares, “I believe that Tai Chi is an important aspect to centering you and preparing you for the day ahead. Relaxation, reducing stress and feeling balanced are important components to personal sustainability. Tai Chi also equips the individual with the tools to cope with stress throughout their day, just perform a few moves and regain the control you need!”

On Tuesday, September 10, over 50 people showed up to start their morning with Tai Chi. This Chinese martial art consists of slow methodical movements that help reduce stress while creating a sense of balance, physically and mentally.
