A cherished tradition of fun and entertainment…the annual Nutcracker Family Dinner.
Families gathered on Saturday, December 15 at the Auditorium Theatre for a performance of the Joffrey’s Nutcracker, celebrating its 25th anniversary, then at the Palmer House for dinner and festivities.
Joffrey Ballet’s Woman’s Board co-chairs Carol Stone and Laura Kofoid welcomed over 500 guests to the Palmer House for the annual Nutcracker Family Dinner. The event was held from 4-7PM. and included a family-style dinner. Guests attended a performance of the Nutcracker at either 2 or 7PM. Trolleys transported guests back and forth from the hotel to the auditorium. Festivities included face painting, cookie decorating, holiday crafts, candy from Candyality, with the highlight of the evening being a magician. Kids lined up to see the magic unfold before their eyes. Every child received a Nutcracker t-shirt personalized with their own name.
