Tom Ricketts Honored by Weizmann Institute of Science

Philanthropist and owner of the Chicago Cubs, Tom Ricketts, will be honored by the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science (ACWIS) on Saturday, November 9, at the Fairmont Chicago. Dinner Chair Renee Crown and Event Chair William A. Marovitz will welcome over 600 business and community leaders for dinner and entertainment. A conversation featuring Mr. Ricketts will be moderated by Mr. Marovitz.

“Mr. Ricketts has dedicated decades of philanthropic work toward bettering the quality of human life,” says ACWIS Midwest Regional Chair Steven Anixter. “Given his commitment to this goal, one that Weizmann Institute also shares, we are thrilled to salute Mr. Ricketts as this year’s distinguished honoree.”

The dynamic theme will be created and designed by Michael Pagliuco of Pagliuco Design Company and Tom Kehoe of Kehoe Designs – highlighting the recent achievements of the Institute.
