Understand Your Brain (Part Three)

In America, the use of prescription medications doubled between the years 1996 and 2005. Over 27 million Americans use medication to make their brains feel better or to simply arise to the task of getting out of bed every day to handle all that goes with living the great American dream.

Antidepressants are simply a Band-Aid on the boo-boo. They do not attend to the root cause of the problem. Antidepressants simply cover up one’s less than helpful brain chemistry. Addictive thinking is created by repetitive thinking, often seasoned by years of familiarity and comfort.

The neurochemicals created formulate hormones that can make one joyful or depressed. We can become “lobotomized” by our fears, insecurities or the agreements we have made with ourselves to support the picture of who we believe we are.

When one is courageous enough to allow the death of the old, not so good working self (often presented by increased depression, anxiety or even sleeplessness), they allow themselves to literally awaken the brain!

By weighing what you know based on past history and comparing it to what works in one’s life, the birth of emerging new thoughts, possibilities, hopes and joy will present themselves.

By turning off the noise in one’s life and being quiet, observant, and meditative, you will sprout fresh new positive neurochemicals, hence rewire the brain. By rewiring the brain you are altering your energy field for the better.

Old repetitive patterns of thinking crumble while new chemicals bathe the brain to create a new and hopeful you. You will begin to manifest whatever you focus on, meditate or visualize. You become your own personal wizard slipping into universal abundance. Pretty cool, no?
